Vaulta is designed with privacy as a core principle. We intentionally limit the collection of user data to the minimum necessary to operate, secure, and improve the App.

We do not collect, store, or process personal information such as:

  • Names
  • Email addresses
  • Phone numbers
  • Account credentials

Vaulta does not require user accounts and operates primarily on your device.

b. User Content

All photos, videos, and files you store in Vaulta:

  • Remain on your device or within your personal iCloud storage
  • Are not transmitted to our servers
  • Are not accessible to us

We do not view, access, or analyze your personal content.

c. Analytics Data

We use Firebase Analytics to collect limited, non-identifiable usage data, such as:

  • App interactions, including feature usage
  • Performance metrics
  • General device and system information

This information is used solely to help us improve app performance, usability, and reliability.

d. Crash and Diagnostic Data

We use Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash reports and diagnostic data, including:

  • Error logs
  • Device type and operating system version
  • App performance and stability issues

Crash and diagnostic data does not include the personal content you store in Vaulta and is used strictly to identify and correct technical issues.

e. Security Data (Firebase App Check)

We use Firebase App Check to help protect the App from abuse, fraud, and unauthorized access.

Does not track users or collect personal identity information

Verifies that requests originate from legitimate app instances

Helps prevent automated or malicious traffic

2. How We Use Information

We use the limited information described above to:

  • Improve app performance and stability
  • Fix bugs and crashes
  • Enhance user experience
  • Protect the App from abuse and unauthorized access

We do not use information for:

Selling or sharing personal data

Advertising

Marketing

Profiling

3. Data Storage and Security

  • Your content is stored locally on your device or within your iCloud account
  • We do not store your personal files on our servers
  • We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards

While we take reasonable steps to protect the App, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.

4. Third-Party Services

Vaulta uses the following third-party services:

  • Firebase Analytics
  • Firebase Crashlytics
  • Firebase App Check

These services may collect limited technical information and operate under their own privacy policies.

5. No Data Selling or Sharing

  • We do not sell your data
  • We do not rent your data
  • We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers

Your information is not used for commercial tracking or behavioral advertising.

6. Children’s Privacy

Vaulta is not directed to children under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 16.

7. Your Privacy Rights

Because we do not collect personal data or maintain user accounts, there is generally no personal profile stored by us for you to access, modify, or delete.

  • You maintain control of your content on your device and iCloud
  • You may remove content at any time
  • Uninstalling the App may remove locally stored data depending on device settings

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in legal requirements, App functionality, or services.

When updates are made, the Effective Date at the top of this policy will be revised.
